Meyer-Almes - DBD dyes

Application of DBD-dyes

Prof. Pablo Wessig at the University of Potsdam has discovered the dioxolo [4,5-f] [1,3] benzodioxoles, a class of fluorescence dyes with interesting properties. In a collaboration with his group we employ the extraordinary changes in fluorescence lifetime to develop extremely sensitive and robust binding assays for enzymes of the histone deacetylase family. Further information can be found on this joint poster.
